8, not for me...

For people of Asian descent, the number 8 is regarded as the luckiest number in Chinese culture. Apparently, with pronunciation of 'Ba' in Chinese, number 8 sounds similar to the word 'Fa', which means to make a fortune. As it contains meanings of prosperity, success and high social status, Asians (like myself) favor this number.

Therefore, today hypothetically, was the perfect day for me, except that it was not meant to be...
