Took in the 'Little Canada' exhibit at Yonge and Dundas this afternoon after visitng Ames and Mr. Trudeau. The site is breathtakingly beautiful in all of it's complex detail in making the exhibits lifelike in the small compact compactness!

I was listening to the most recent episode of Let's Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa and she spoke with Jeffrey Dean Morgan (who I was first introduced to from his role as Denny on Grey's Anatomy, the patient who connected with Izzie...). His wife, Hilarie came up in the conversation and what made it ever more interesting is that in this 'small world' formula,
I was introduced to her through her role as Peyton Sawyer on 'One Tree Hill'.
To bring the story into a full circle, she's also currently a co-host on another podcast I follow (the Drama Queens podcast) along with her two other former One Tree Hill co-stars, Sophia Bush (Brooke Davis) and Bethany Joy Lenz (Haley James).
Hilarie's book, The Rural Diaries was mentioned in the conversation and I was so interested that I borrowed a copy of it on ebooks (also a completely new experience for me as I normally prefer the old-school book version but other than the inconvenience of reading the book on a larger laptop version as opposed to on a the phone, which I assume would be tiny...it wasn't a negative outcome) and read it this weekend. It was a very interesting read as it was a mostly background biographical experience to Hilarie and Jeffrey's courtship and life. I fully recommend it!

Enjoyed the most fabulous reunion with Winnie since she'd come
back from her visit back home with her family!

With such long awaited warm weather, we went to Aroma on Avenue where
she had the most scumptious salad and I had a lovely morsel of strawberry rhubarb delight
with my kale and strawberry smoothie!
