Fam time

Celebrated Malcolm's (Julia and Stephen's number two) First Communion at St. Matthew's Catholic Church yesterday arvo.

It's definitely been a minute since there's been any extended fam time so it was really nice to celebrate at Juju and Stephen's place afterwards.

It has also been awhile since I've stepped into a house of God and quite refreshing to have had the sermon given by a priest of seemingly Filipino descent!

It's been a bit, thanks to work (yay FT perm position at Canada Life, right?) so absolutely NO complaints!

Regardless, I've caught a bit of an annoying cold from my father (thanks to his love of napping on my armchair while I'm at work).
What's most annoying is that my 'cold' is quite harmless EXCEPT for thus annoying issue of my having an occasional runny nose from ONLY the right nostril. Ugh, sooo annoying mais c'est la vie, non?

I'm hoping for it to be cured this weekend by taking it easy with ONLY a left leg/right hip massage (don't ask, I'm weird like that) and a Mexican lunch tomorrow with Cristina.

What a great piece of history with the safe return to Earth from The Artemis II crew (consists of four astronauts—NASA's Reid Wiseman (Commander), Victor Glover (Pilot), Christina Koch (Mission Specialist), and Canadian Space Agency's Jeremy Hansen (Mission Specialist))- who completed a 10-day mission around the moon.
