DAY #13
i am an eating machine...boston pizza tonite with aiee liz, uncle bob, jeff and the rest of my nuclear family...eeewww..i'm a yellow bloaty submarine....i don't know what i'm talking about! hahahah!

yeh, i'm extremely exhausted...i spent 11 hrs in the car coming to calgary from vancouver after a sleepless nite with 10 ppl....AGAIN. i decided i wasn't going to sleep in the room with dad and his truck snores, so i moved my makeshift bed downstairs to the living room where i was all fine and dandy except for this certain mr. spidey....yeh...after that i moved back upstairs and got a total of an hour and a half of sleep...good job cat...

jeff's got the music blaring so we'll go have some kokanee or something. i'll be home tomorrow! yay!

DAY #11-12
nothing special yesterday so i didn't blog. dad bbqed for us for dinner and we ate till our guts started to come out. aiee liz took us out to japanese food tonite...ALL YOU CAN EAT sake wine, sake and california maki's, salmon sashimi's, ebi sunomono, tonkatsu, edamame, kaki motoyaki and vegetable tempuras! i notice that all we do is eat....eat cheesecakes, sweet stuffs...eat eat eat...guys...i'll be back in toronto 180 lbs and a belly guy! hahahahah!

i spoke to my australian cousin, lanthia today. she lives in singapore with her husband...it was very cool! she called but ah yee haley was out shopping so we chatted for like half an hour! she really wants to meet me...gotta come to T.O.!!!

DAY #9-10
i have to explain what just happened. ah yee vee took everyone out to dinner at a very fancy chinese restaurant and we'd eaten huge bowls of shark fin soup, and had spiced tofu, abalones, and all these other chinese delicacies with our rice that would make half of you throw up....but that's besides the point. it was delicious! and expensive...

we went to the supermarket to buy ingredients because everyone loved the currie that aiee haley made last night (that's another story coming up in a few paragraphs) and she's actually in the process of making it again...right now...

aiee margaret, amelia and i left to get the car and we decided to go home first cuz there was laundry to be done, and we weren't home TWO SECONDS...when the phone started ringing, so aiee marg went to pick it up while i turned on the computer and when i came back into the room, there was suddenly a voice from the backyard door and amelia and i freaked out cuz we thought there was a robber! aiee marg raced to the door to find ah yee mary yelling thru the window saying "DON'T WASH THE CLOTHES! DON'T WASH THE CLOTHES!" and then the garage door started banging and ringing...so aiee marg raced to the door to find ah yee vee heaving and saying "DON'T WASH THE CLOTHES! DON'T WASH THE CLOTHES!" of course we were confused as to why not...and completely flipping out cuz we were having heart attacks...when kou fou george popped his head in and explained that he'd left his stainless steel watch in his shirt pocket! CASE CLOSED!

so anyway, we've come home from a day shopping across the border in bellingham, washington state. that's another joke in itself. try explaining to the poor guard as we're crossing the border that there's 6 canadians...4 from toronto, 1 from calgary, 1 from vancouver, as well as an american from san francisco and an australian from sydney.....in a RENTAL CAR just going out for a day to go shopping! luckily for us...dad has a cute baby face and who could possibly thing that he's in the business with osama bin ladin?!?!? but i have to say i'm mighty pleased with myself as i've scored a cute little light blue purse from american eagle and a cream colored cordoroy skirt from gap. very cheap. YAH! good times!

yesterday i was driven out of aiee marg's house because aiee haley made currie...and it STUNK UP THE WHOLE APARTMENT! peeyou! so i went into the yard with amelia's book and because there are no chairs out there...squatted in the farthest corner (to get away from the smell that's streaming out the windows) until it was dark...the neighbour stuck her head out the top window sometime after and then it occured to me how odd i looked....like i was sitting in the corner because i was in trouble or something! ;p

the nite market last night was awesome! it was so much fun cuz we'd walk around looking at really nice stuff for really cheap prices and eat fish balls, stinky tofu, fried cod with 12 ppl cuz eva and her husband came by on their bus trip! then when we left, because our van only 8 ppl, 5 of us walked halfway before we sat down at a bus shelter waiting for dad to come pick us up! you should have seen us! we looked like a bunch of hitchikers!

DAY #8
aiee liz is here! mom's family is 7/8's complete! it's been jokes and laughter all day! i don't remember ever laughing so much with my mom! i love our family! they are the nuttiest! we're just finishing a sea food dinner that kuh fou george cooked for us...and now we're getting ready to go shopping till midnight (vancouver time) yay shopping for cheap stuff!

dad drove us to west vancouver today, lonsdale quay, where we ate and drank merrily! oh my god, the funniest things happened to mom. see, she's the nit-pickiest of us all...very clean very orderly. dad parked the car and we all piled out to go walking along the wharf when ah yee mary starts laughing hysterically and saying mom's got gum on her shoe! kuh fou george starts running after her with a tissue and is bent over getting the gum while everyone else is holding her still so that they could get the gum off! damn! i forgot to take a picture! it was hilarious! that's not all...mom also flattened the bread with her ass! she made sure ah yee mary wouldn't sit on the bread when they got in the car and then forgot to look when SHE sat down! my gosh! we laughed till tears were rolling down our cheeks! we then went and bought lotto 649 with mom.

talked to john today! i miss everyone. i really do. it's too bad i don't have a long distance phone plan and need to rely on $5 phone cards. ah well, better then nothing. he's great! i can't wait to see you when we get back from vacation!

all i have to say is that i can't wait till we get the pictures developed!

DAY #7
i'm SO TIRED! ;p eight of us piled into our rented van and dad drove us to whistler today. i sat in the backseat there and partway thru the way back but i kept getting sick so mom switched with me and then it was all good! whistler is an awesome little town! i'd love to go back sometime in the winter and spend a week there skiing! yeh! but it's summer right now so it's mostly bikes and stuff. in order to fully enjoy whistler you must like sports and pubs. we obviously did not have much to do but that's ok. we chilled at a cafe and watched ppl do stuff on their bikes!

ah yee haley just swore! ahaha! it was quite funnie! she needed to throw away some oil and needed a container for it. so she said she's use a coke can cuz she was drinking one and then she drained the rest of the coke into her cup. but then mom told her to save the can cuz if we return it, we get $0.10 back! ahaha. so then ah yee haley had to look for something else. here she is with plastic gloves on her hands, completely frustrated, when she turns to me and says "why does everything have to be such a bloody nuisance?!?!" ahahaha! that was completely classic! i laughed my ass off while she shrugged sheepishly when mom asked what was going on!

we have our very own alarm clock. actually, it's really terrible...the fire alarm went off this morning after ames and i had our showers and i think the steam wafted thru the air and set the stupid thing off. mom ran of yelling "ah jeh! ah jeh!" (margaret) while haley was yelling "dai lo! dai lo!" (george) and dad ran outta the washroom while ames and i just stood there completely confused! then kuh fou george ran up the stairs to where that fire alarm detector was and started waving a magazine in the air and it stopped! woo! talk about drama in the morning!

i want to go shopping! but i think i have to wait till we get to alberta. boo.

DAY #6
wow. i looked at the time that i wrote and it's way too early in the morning! or rather way too late in the evening! i just got home from eating late nite food with EVERYONE!

went to the steveston wharf today to have fish and chips! it was quite funny because we had eight orders and we finished all the fish and then had a HUGE bag of chips! (fries) and then we didn't know what to do with them so we brought them home!

met up with rita downtown robson street and we ate at the cactus club pub and then had gelatos. ames was with us and we had great fun! i updated rita on smcsu stuff and everything was well. we went shopping and zara had some awesome spaghetti strapped tanks for ONLY $20!!! rita and i bought one! ahaha! that girlie has a shoe fetish! ;p

called karina and lisa today. i was getting very edgy and fidgety cuz i wanted to call the girls! i spoke to flo briefly on msn. wow, i miss everyone. i tried to call john but he was at work and now it's too late. stupid time zone!

kuw fou george and ah yee vee bought the ballet of swan lake and we watched it on tv. except i got soooo tired that i went up for an afternoon nap. afterall, how does one sleep at nite when my dad snores sooooo very loud?!?!? we're going to whistler tomorrow early morning so off to sleep now!

DAY #5
i should have stayed in calgary one more day. aiee liz may not be able to make it to the big "family reunion" awwww...what a shame. brother and 5 sisters! whoa!
before i forget...HAPPY B-DAY CARL! ....yesterday! ahaha...it IS 12:20am in the morning! i'm still awake cuz we just got back from ah yee mary's place and ah yee vee and mom fell asleep and aiee haley was talking really loud and i'd prolly have stayed at ah yee mary's except for the fact that she has no internet! and what would i do without internet?!?!?

awesome day! worked out on ah yee mary's treadmill and i felt great! kuw fou george took us out to lunch. then we went to pick up ah yee vee from work and she took us to stanley park and we walked along the beaches! AND!!! she took us to eat cheese cake at this really great shop called "true confections" and it was hilarious because we parked in a spot that needed a permit and we didn't have one so we asked the waitress for a patio seat so we could keep an eye out for our car incase it needed to be towed! ahaha!

after cheese cake, ah yee vee took us to robson street (equivalent to yonge st. downtown) and we had such a great time walking around. tho..i think aiee haley is sick with something and it was really funny becuase it was 5 adults and me and ames. ahaha.

i forgot to mention something about yesterday. when we had just past kamloops, we stopped off at this gas station and the CUTEST GUY filled the gas for us! i was literally DROOLING! ahaha! ames looked at me and asked why i was staring really weirdly until she turned aound to see what i was looking at and then she started making fun of me! i hope we see him again when we go back to calgary! ahahahaaaa!

ok. i'm falling asleep now so i'll be logging off. lisa, flo, kirsten....EVERYONE! i miss you and will be calling you soon! i bought a unipass card and i have 83 mins! yah!

DAY #4
i spent a whole day vegetating in the car. we drove from calgary to vancouver today. it was very tiring. can you imagine? spend a day sleeping in the car. ugh. a mountain goat, some sheep and tons of cows. the mountains were pretty, but not as pretty as yesterday. so now i'm here and i'm going to aiee mary's to sleep and she has no internet so i'll be going.

it's been fun tho. mom's brother (uncle george) and her sisters, mary, haley, margaret were all there. except victoria who's sleeping cuz she works tomorrow morning at 4 am and liz cuz she's still in calgary. ok now really going! goodnite! miss all of you! muah!

DAY #3
went to lake louise and radium springs all day. we were up at 7am (how is this a vacation ppl??!?) and had breakfast in this really quaint diner (i'll have pics) and spent most of the day....in the car...tho...i have some really cool highlights! ames saw a deer in the morning...and then we almost ran into a baby deer (we didn't)...we also saw a nuclear family (for all you anthro ppl out there) of mountain goats at radium springs...let me tell you what a disappointment radium springs was. we went there expecting a yellowstone geyser spitting natural spring...what did we see? A POOL...and they wanted us to pay too! so we went to the banff town instead and went shopping...oooh! they only pay 7% tax in alberta! i'm sooooo getting $15 bras! yeh!

we had a BEAUTIFUL day today and lake louise was just awesome...we went 5 years ago and i can still remember it was an awful day. no sun whatsoever. today the sun was out and shining and the baby chipmunks were all over the place. the lake we a beautiful shade of turqouise and the glaciers were really pretty. all that geology crap that i took in really came in handy today!

uncle bob drove us to this restaurant called smugglers where they had THE BEST roast beef! jeff came after work and ate the most. 16 ounce piece of meat! i'm still trying to digest my thin slices of 8 ounce meat! and to top it off, i went home with jeff and he made it a point to sckreech at every light, race with every car, vroom off really fast AND with his dance music turned up to the max....it was AWESOME! ahahahaha!

i think they went down to watch lord of the rings in bob's home theatre....i started to watch it this afternoon, but alas...headache and stomach cramps, now i'm relaxing with my chamomile tea!

DAY 2 - AMES' B-DAY!
so jeff took me out yesterday nite. aiee liz and bob had a house warming party and it was REALLY REALLY boring..(they were all adults) and ames was really tired so she stayed at home. we went to laserquest where jeff's friends came with some cousin's from switzerland (too bad they were like 15....SWITZERLAND!) and it laserquest was sooooo much fun...except the part where i came in dead last! ahahahah...then afterwards jeff's friends (oh right...they're girls) wanted to go to this gay bar called "detours" and i really wanted to go cuz karina and charysee are always going and i want to go...but jeff didn't want to so instead we drove around calgary's empty mall lots looking for shopping carts to ram into and make them flip over these bumps....i KNOW!!!!! CRAZY!!!! jeff drives at like 160km/h! groovy! ahahah...so we finally got back home at like 12:30am and then we chilled in his room drinking kokanee beer (i hate beer...) and just talking cuz afterall...we haven't seen each other in like 5 years!

aiee liz took us to their A&W restaurant in okotok we got free french fries! yay! ahaha...and they have llama farms next to their house...i gotta get a pic of those llamas! i got a picture of their house...it's like a beautiful 3 car garage castle....*green with envy*

went to chinnock's mall today! it's great! it reminds me of eaton centre...ahhh....SHOPPING! it was great cuz i was cramping all day so i went to the GNC and bought chamomile tea...and then found an organic store for ORGANIC tampons...cuz the regular ones have bleach in them...yeh i know flo....SCARY....

haha...jeff's out with his friends...and i'm on his computer...he said i got cream all over his desk the other day...i didn't! blah...guys...oh well...i'm so glad lis and flo were on tonite! we were chatting three way for about 45 mins! thanx girls! i miss you! mwah!

anyway, chamomile tea and sleep...and then hot springs tomorrow!

DAY 1
wow! that's ALL i have to say. it's like 7pm calgary time right now and aiee elizabeth has company over for our dinner tonight. but it's like 9pm toronto time! weird! i spoke briefly with flo before she went to play pool with her boyz! and it was funny! remember this miau: http://gowiththeflo.8m.com/ ok!

so i was up at 7am toronto time this morning to finish packing (cuz you know...i'm THE procrastinator) and left the house at 8:30am for the airport. we had a very nice breakfast and then went to our flight...hahaha....getting thru the airport security! that was FREAKY! they went thru EVERYTHING!!! i don't know...it's not like i was hiding anything...but the way they acted like...open your camera for us...what? toothpics in a tiny container that looks like it would contain cocaine?!?!?! any sharp items? ahahahah...the detector got my dad...it turned out to be his belt buckle...and the change purse he forgot in his pocket! ahahahah!

our flight time was 11:15am...we were ON THE PLANE by 11:20am...which was GREAT timing! BUT.....the captain had to wait for a flight attendant from another plane flight and guess what time we actually left?!?!? that's right...12:30 pm....an hour and 15mins later...geez...and then ME....QUEEN OF MOTION SICKNESS....i dunno...i don't like planes. period.

we got to calgary at around 4:15pm (TO time) and aiee liz came to pick us up and took us out to lunch for vietnamese noodles! then they took us home...HOOME....do you know? i think i want to LIVE HERE! they are sooooooooooo RICH!!! like NO JOKES! they literally had a mansion built! it's fully completed...basement is fully done....there is a HUGE THEATER ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM in their basement...next to MY ROOM (oh yeh...ames will be sleeping on a futon in MY room tonite! ahahaha) and a kickass HUGE washroom (that's bigger then ames' room at home) WITH A STEAM SAUNA! can you imagine?!?!?!? ahhhh....luxury! ooops...did i forget to mention? they live right on the edge of this lake with an island in the middle...it's like a minature blue mountain resort! ahhhhh! *drool drool* i love em!

which i should also mention now as well...my cousin jeff has taken my sister out for a walk and he's *let* me go on his comp! kick ass!

ok...i'm gonna type some emails now! update tomorrow! heh heh!

so maybe i got raped on my exam...who knows? i'm just glad i'm DONE! YES!!!!! whoooo hooooo!!!!! and i'm off to calgary and vancouver on SATURDAY! AND i don't have to work tomorrow! YEEEAAAHHHHH! good job good job *pats meself on the back*

i feel good! i worked out this morning after being a BLOB for 3 weeks...and that was GOOD...what was on tv? onegin...with liv tyler and ralph fiennes...yes grace...drool if you must...it was a stupid movie. enjoyed a nice HOT shower...it's amazing how the little things bring so much pleasure after having hurried showers at the crack of dawn and then rushing down for coffee with flo in the morning. yeh...so spending 10hrs at the library is NOT a recommended diet....i fully believe that i will be relaxing like hell after tomorrow's exam! i'm actually really psyched! i COULD technically write the exam earlier...that's how confident i am! yay! i was thinking that i'd be at the library bright and early tomorrow morning...but since then, i've decided that i think i'm gonna enjoy my sleep and get up whenever i get up and go study when i'm good and ready....who's placing bets? ahahahaha....

ames is playing stupid operatic music...which has forced me to use my library ear plugs...how sad is that?!?!? oooh...guess what else is really sad? the fact that i'm so dead that i couldn't even remember masako's name today...i saw her at the library and i'm like "HEY...." yeh...fun time, no? ran into adelaide as well...oh gesus...was is adele? oh god...either way...she has her chem 138 exam tomorrow...ahahahaha...i REMEMBER WHEN I TOOK THAT STUPID COURSE! i HATED IT!!!!! mwahahahahahaaaaa!!!!

OMG I'M GONNA DIE!

no...for real! i started studying for geology....and i'm not even halfway thru chap 16 yet! ugh...i'm looking at landslides, and creeping and slumping and rock glaciers...and it's quite pathetic...

i was sleeping in the afternoon (yeh...so smart...sleep instead of studying) after i was up so early in the morning to teach (i should do this NO TEACHING thingy when i'm studying for exams...it's so stressful to be teaching when your brain is screaming "you're not studying enuf! you're stupid! you're wasting precious studying time!!!!")...oh...i got sidetracked...the point of that whole sleeping thing was that i was woken by this RETARDED sound coming from outside...and i didn't even know where it was coming from so i couldn't even run screaming outside to stop the noise...and then the doorbell started ringing frantically like it was the end of the world and when i finally dragged myself out of bed long enuf to put on some suitable "opening door" clothing and then opened the door...who was there? some ppl looking for a russian family that supposedly lives somewhere on our street...HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW IF WE HAVE RUSSIAN PPL LIVING ON OUR STREET?!?!?!? grrrr....and to imagine, grandma slept thru the whole episode too....

so yes...that most annoying noise finally drove me down to my basement to study...let ME TELL YOU...it's cold and icky...but it's finished...so i guess i shouldn't be complaining...but i like to complain...especially when i'm wasting time blogging instead of studying...actually...i'm on break...so HA!

flo actually woke me up the last time before i started studying! yay flo! she's been studying at the library...which i think is a very good idea...i think i'll go to the public library tomorrow...i don't think i can stand the cold anymore...but WAIT....stupid library's are WHAT?!?!? CLOSED ON SUNDAY'S DURING JULY AND AUGUST?!?!? *sigh* i can never win can i? i've been kicked out of so many libraries...robarts closed at 6 last nite, and ES closed at 5 the day before...i'm destined to fail everything....

ok...i'm finished whining...i going back to studying...

just in case ppl think i died....i haven't.
i've been buried beneath tons of studying at robarts and earth sciences. if you want to find me. i'll be either on the 2nd or 3rd floor reading room of robarts or earth sciences. i have an assignment due tomorrow, but i've made my own deadline of 12pm today. if you bother to look at the time i'm blogging right now, it's approximately 12:30pm. so it's quite obvious that i haven't made the deadline. i'm completely living on 4 hours of sleep (which technically is not whinable but i like to sleep 8-10hrs a day) and i've been not at home. i haven't seen 1/2 my fam in 3 days and now everyone thinks i'm dead. for the record, i believe i kicked my test's ass yesterday and flo is the only person that see's me on a daily basis, and only because we meet up at 8-9am in the morning for coffee! ;p

what?!?!?! today is vicky's birthday?!?!? well then...HAPPY BIRTHDAY VICKY!!!!! *smiles*

you see, vicks, that if i wasn't ready kinsey's blog...i would never had known! so...you must promise me that you will try and blog at least once a month in english, otherwise i NEVER KNOW what you are doing! and on a side note: yes kinsey, the cinema that's is opening at fairview is probably rainbow cinema's and they are known for their $4.50 deals. they have em at promenade mall and markville mall. i think we should go.

hahahaha...you should have just SEEN what i did...grace was on the chair and juju was in the armchair next to her and ames was on the other computer, and i came in to use this computer and grace said she'd give it to me if i got the spider under julia's chair...and then i shrieked and tried to jump onto the chair that she was on...it was hilarious! and then we all started shrieking cuz we thought the spider went into my school bag and i tried to pick it up and put it on the shelf and then grace threw it on the floor again...ok...randomness...

oh WAIT! ahhhhhhh spider's moving! we're ALL shrieking! it's quite funny! and ames' yelling for dad! and grace just threw toilet paper at amelia...ahahaha....so amelia picked up the spider and threw it into the toilet and the spider bounced out and was just floating!
and thus ends the tragic life of spidey.

so we had a council meeting this morning and it's not the greatest thing in the world after 6 hrs of sleep so i tried to get some sleep when i got home...but flo decided to call, and then lisa...then it became clear to me that i was NOT meant to nap because grandma's doctor came with her husband and son, grace and jules came...and then lisa came to pick me up for coffee at timmy ho's!

we spent some 2 odd hours looking at pics and laughing and catching up and stuff cuz frankly, chick, we haven't seen each other in the LONGEST TIME! i miss you chick! hahahaaa...we couldn't go in the house because we had company...so we stayed in lisa's car and talked for a very long time. i look hideous in that photo! burn it! now! oh ok...give it to me...that's fine too...

was is just me or did jerome look really really HOT today? ;p hahahahaaaa....didn't have the deer caught in headlight look today! mmm....yummy! i got this excellent picture of him talking on the phone...such a sunshine boy! and mike looked good too...but he had a glazed look...i suppose it's cuz he partied all nite long...and something is VERY wrong with the hair! all the chickies looked especially good this morning! i do believe we can make our boys drool! hahahahahaaa....totally j/j!

oh man...i cried again today. i don't know...maybe it's the fact that mandy moore is dying of lukemia...maybe cuz i don't understand how such a good-looking fellow like shane west can be sooo good looking...maybe it's just a really sentimental movie that i have to watch AGAIN because amelia kept laughing and cracking jokes when we watched it yesterday. mooo...

i'm trying to think of a good song that i can post...but my brain is mush and i'm tired...i think the lack of sleep part is catching up to me. oh brother. and dad doesn't believe i studied today. *sigh* when i study, he thinks i didn't study...when i do study, he thinks i didn't study...hmm...this is not working out in my favor...so now i'm gonna rest before i pass out...

ahahahaaaa....that was tanaka's first words to me on the phone today...apparently everyone's been under the impression that's i'd dropped off the face of the world! well...technically i did. after all, i'd been working all weekend on my anthropology essay on falun gong which was due monday and couple days after i was working on my geology building rocks assignment that was due today! I HAVE SURFACED FOR AIR! ;p

the funniest thing happened yesterday. you see, i went down to union station with karl on tuesday to scout around for rocks and we found some AMAZING stuff. well i went back yesterday with cahyee (i gave her a VERY NICE descriptive and informative tour) and i was taking pics of the rocks that i planned on using at the bce place when cahy tapped me on the shoulder and pointed behind me...a security officer! i was soooo scared that he was gonna kick us out and tell us we couldn't take any pics! but instead, he handed me back my eraser that i left from the day before (i didn't even realize i left it there) and said "you're the girl that came yesterday"...ahahahaaaa the SECURITY GUARD remembered me!!!! cahy laughed at me the whole time!

i made the mistake of mentioning to cahy that i own no dresses except my prom/formal dress. and she picked a dress off the hanger at jacob, shoved it in my face and said "GO. put that dress on NOW" and i did ...and i looked AWESOME in it! i was soooo surprised! so i bought a total of two dresses for $50 at jacob. one's a casual beige dress and the other's a black formal dress (perfect for the gala in october) and cahy was SOOO PLEASED with herself for converting another fellow chick into a girl!

so yes, i had tan lines from the day before so i wore one of cahyee's halters from american eagle! i love it! they actually even had a sale on those same halter tops...but they were all extra large...booooo...but it was funny because matt used to work there and all the sales people were like "aren't you matts...??" to cahy and she was like "yessss" and rolled her eyes! ;p oh...the halter didn't work...i still have WHITE tan lines....i can't believe i used to be sooo white! but there is PROOF!

ran into cesar today. he's such a nice guy! too bad he has a girlfriend of a year and a half! boo! j/j! he's such a hottie! and he was trying to teach me the techniques and everything about buying a car and how to check the oil and pump gas and check tire pressure! he's cool...he introduced me to this guy named ashley...he was cool too!
