i ran into henry yesterday after class and after berating him about not blogging, i promised him that we would both make a more conscientious effort to blog more. HA.
it's not that i haven't tried blogging, the computer said no and shut down several times, or i forgot what i was writing and gave up. i dunno. it's been busy busy what with all the rehearsals and substitutions and trying to gather up my thoughts and whatnot.
it has also been snowing alot and i think that is a good thing. snow is good for the economy, this is what canada is known for. it does cause of lot of traffic delays and falling downs, but oh well.
so what is up? well other then the fact that THE musical (CHESS) has taken over my whole entire being, i have no life. well ok, i do have one sort of. There is a hockey game at the varsity this thursday (smc vs. vic...we are so going to kick vic's asses) so that will be a well deserved break from doing nothing, as well, if anyone is interested in going it would do well to bring some non-perishable foods as that is the point of the game, to bring in donations.
There will be a pseudo abbey reunion saturday night (oh horrors, i don't want to jinx it) but thanks to len, it looks like it will actually happen. ESPECIALLY since i got a special call from my buddy corona today. wow did i feel special! ;p hahaha. And dinner at grace and juju's? we'll see about that. i may not have room after dinner with the girlies. ok, maybe for that tiramisu dessert that the cousin makes. ha!
whatelse what else? oh right so i am selling homemade cookies at 1 for $0.25 and 3 for $0.50 and all profits will be given to the graditude fundraising committee, and i've made just over $10, wow i should feel proud.
meh, nothing big now except for the TSO for 3 piano players on 3 grand pianos and some street music (with a guy drumming on the subway with two pieces of rubber) coolio. there's a guy in my death and dying class that dimps and i have nicknamed the "smelly guy" because the past two weeks he looked like he didn't know proper hygiene. but we are reconsidering the nickname because he looked SOOOOOO hot in class today. damn he looked good with the specs. oh and plus there is always starbucks boy, who always makes me so happy when i see him. hahaha.
oh i missed velma and kelly. love you too.

oh this is just craptacular...i am so totally putting the blame squarely on matt. why? if he hadn't taped the first episode of the second season of The O.C., and then had me, shelley and carmi watch it an hour before the second episode (while explaining the crazy drama, who dated who, who is who's mom...), i never would have been hooked to this multifaceted eye candy show! honestly, is it just me or was lindsay wearing a purple bra with a sweater on top to cover herself?!?!?! and the coincidental hooking up of everyone with their respective girlfriends and boyfriends (with the exception of the girl who got dumped by the gardener)...and next week everyone is dumping everyone.
geez, you'd think i had better things to be watching...like GILMORE GIRLS. unfortunately that show hasn't had a new episode in ages. i hear maybe the week after next week? COME ON. i want to know what's going on in stars hollow, i want to know if luke and lorelai are ok (i personally think lorelai is better suited with christopher...but that's me), i want to know if rory will date the hot hot hot rich cutie, and i want to know where lane and zack's relationship is going.
so i realize this rant is very superficial as it centres around the comings and goings of television people, but i'm way too tired to try to write something of importance, so i guess i'll save it to tomorrow? or is that today? hmmm...we'll see how i feel after i wake up after a bag of sour cream and cheddar chips....among the various other junk food i've had today. but please, let's not dredge that up tonight.

what am i doing? i'm so tired right now, i'm falling off my chair but of course i decide that this will be the time that i blog about my very VERY short winter break.
first off: i had an amazing time!
right, so i currently have a huge bruise on my left bum cheek from skiing. no i don't suck at skiing, it just happened that the two days i skiied in mont tremblant, they were shitty days. the 31st of december it rained all day and the visibility was as good as nothing. i went skiing that day with my sister, and after falling the gazillionth time and even performing the splits, she decided to call it quits and i ended up going solo the next day (which i totally didn't mind, in fact i think it was better that way, i could go faster...yay!) the only problem was that the next day the weather got cold and the rain from the day before became ice and that made for a great abt workout on the slopes. ;p
so new years was in mont tremblant and christmas was in NYC. this is all i have to say about asian bus tours: NEVER AGAIN. never had i ever felt so asian in my whole entire life. hahaha. i mean sure i got to go to NY for cheap, but after this...NEVER AGAIN.
actually i have so many stories to go with that trip but i'm just way too lazy to type it all out. but it was a great trip, just too claustrophobically asian for me. yech. (picture an asian tour guide in a bright yellow puffy jacket holding a yellow flag and yelling for us to follow him...shudder...ames totally knows what i'm talking about!!) but the best part of that trip was that i was there for the boxing day sale at saks fifth avenue and was able to score myself a pair of gorgeous garnet chandelier earrings for a low (but still insanely high) price of $37 from $115. go me.
interestingly enough, i spent the most amount of money in kingston. as soon as i got in and met up with tanaka, she said "hey miao, we're going shopping now." the biggest "oh oh" in the world, and about $80 later....i ended up with a pink coat, a pink top and a very cute black sweater with a poodle. hahahaha. jokes, so jokes.
anyway, school is back and therefore so is running into all these random people that i haven't seen in 3 billion years. so far i know a fair amount of people in my classes, i am just waiting to see if anyone is in language acquisition with me, and that will make my day.
i lied. you know what made my day today? seeing the hot starbucks boy at college and yonge.
wow. nuff said.
