Dear gentle men and women, it's that time of the evening yet again...
instead of working on my speech, i just finished watching the two-part grey's anatomy AGAIN. *sigh* such a procrastinator, i believe i get my best work done at this time of evening. haha.
anyway, i thought i'd share this email i received from my professor regarding our test next week...he is soooo jokes!
Orators--
Test #1 will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 25. It covers chapters 1 though 8. There are 80 questions-- 40 true or false, and 40 multiple choice. You have 60 minutes to complete it.
Please note that all types of success enhancement techniques (SET) will be permitted. This includes, but is not limited to, looking at other people’s answers, peeking at your textbook, eating energy food, deep breathing, phoning an intelligent friend, using the CD that came with the text, coded notes on small cards, bribing the teacher, or working with someone who seems to know a lot. Talking is permitted. Mild assaults of students who appear to be doing better than you are also permitted.
The test is worth 5%.
David
as lyle would say...cheers!

You were wearing that ratty little Dartmouth t-shirt you look so good in.
You just washed your hair and you smelled like some kinda flower.
I was running late for a surgery...you said you were gonna see me later...
Then you leaned to me, put your hand on my chest...and you kissed me.
Soft. It was quick. Kinda like a habit.
You know, like we'd do it every day for the rest of our lives.
You went back to reading the newspaper and I went to work.
That was the last time we kissed.
- Derek recalling the last time he and Meredith kissed from Grey's Anatomy
man, i was just dying last night as i was watching this episode. although i'd have to agree with matthew (yah, i got him hooked! ;p ) that the first part from last week was better then this week. why wasn't anyone else upset the the bomb squad dude blew up? he literally became pink mist. and i totally saw it coming...there was absolutely no way there were going to kill meredith or any of the other main characters.
in other news:
i was accepted!!! whooo hoo!
that is all (haha)

aww, it always feels good to do something nice for someone and then see them so happy! today is one of my co-worker's birthday and so i thought i'd get him a cake or chocolate as a token of appreciation for logging on to the computers for me (i don't have my own log-in!!) wait! he's on a diet?!? haha, apparently he's trying to cut out sweets and pop. so who am i to crash on his diet? i went out to dominion and bought him a nice big red (organic) apple, and an orange. the bananas looked really green so i skipped that. hahaha. he's SOOOO HAPPY with his apple. he cut it up and is now currently sharing it with everyone. ;p
edit:
next day, he took out the orange and shared that with me. haha, we have a special bond now! (unlike me and some other asian co-worker who shall remain nameless...)
i started counterpoint at anna and jonathan. dennis is our teacher, it's going to be mighty interesting...i don't remember ANY harmony from what...7-8 years ago? so i'm already the kid with the dunce cap.
i think i'll blog tomorrow. i always think better in the morning anyway...

the last time i worked out was two weeks ago tomorrow. no, my new years resolution wasn't to lose weight, no i don't make resolutions, and no i didn't want to stop working out.
the treadmill is BROKEN. *tear*
i don't know how it happened, but one day i came home from work and our machine was in various pieces on the floor. that's not how i have come to know and love the machine (although clearly not enough to name it, hahaha.) the worst part is that the MACHINE MAN DID IT! apparently he came and took the machine apart to fix it (there was a tiny tear in the track) and realized he had the wrong part and left. who does that? put the machine back together again until you get the new part!!!!
i'm on a treadmill withdrawal.
