yesterday was definitely a "feel-good" day. #1, i finally finished that essay that has been the bane of my existance for at least a week and a half. i guess it was either finish the paper yesterday or hand it in monday (seeing as it's supposedly a holiday or something? ;p). #2, CONGRATULATIONS TO AVRIL AND ROSE, SMCSU'S NEWEST PRESIDENT AND VICE-PRESIDENT!!! it was just incredible, everyone was so happy and excited! never in the history of smc has two female COMMUTERS won over a a jolly smc community. it was great to be there counting votes and knowing that they were always the leaders! smcsu democracy might be looking up! ;p

needless to say, all these recent events (grammateion, formal, symposium, smcsu elections) are my very last ones. i'm not very sad right now, as i think i'm more then ready to leave this hole for a bit, but i'm pretty sure come september i'm going to either nostalgic or embroiled in my own new exciting future. although, now that av and rose are manning the helm, i think i would like to visit round the college occasionally.

this is it...two more weeks until schools out!

whoo hoo! so remember that stupid essay i handed in yesterday? well i received some papers back this week and i didn't want the marks to affect my writing capabilities (especially if they were bad marks) so i decided to wait and check out the marks now....two papers...A- and 85%!!!!
