Adventure on a summer Sunday

At Pablos Fayewood had the Full Breakfast - fried egg, labneh & zaatar, hummus, olives, fruits or side salad, bread/bagel, avocado slices/scoop and I had a Peach Iced Tea & Avocado Toast with Eggs - Fried Egg, Avocado Spread, Sprout, Mixed Greens tossed with lemon olive, radish garnish & chilli flakes. Afterwards, we went for pedicures at Aphrodite Spa & Nails.

After walking around the Shops of Don Mills and Fayewood grabbing a spectacular deal at Brooks Brothers going out of business sale, we were unable to find a good place for a nice dessert. Sooooo. we ended up at our fav place, Demetres where I tried out there summer deal of 'Blue My Mind' waffle with Blueberry Cheesecake ice cream with fresh blueberries, lemon blueberry coulis and shortbread streusel & Fayewood had a delightful Mango Parfait

Considering the gravity of our high school gf's community that's been unfolding the past several weeks, there's been happier distractions.

Tony awards from June 16 was finally watched (before prv deletion, yikes!)

After spending the day at Sunnybrook for another colonoscopy (thus taking a day off work) and also not really having any meals except for a couple of cracker/cookies to go down with the premarin, finally had a linner of my fav (luncheon meat and sunny eggs on macaroni soup) with HK style tea!!!

Euro Cup fun times (game bandwagon)

Enjoyed a girl's outting with Fayewood yesterday arvo after my pedi at Taylor's landing. The game between Spain and England started at 3 but we'd arrived earlier to grab some appetizers and I'd gotten a nicely made B-52 (woot woot) before the game party goers arrived. At this time our waitress went MIA (not an issue with us until dessert time). Luckily it ended well for us (plus Spain won who was the team Fayewood was rooting for) but by this time we'd already left to check out Structube. We'd walked by Taylor's again on our way back to my place so was lucky enough to catch the great ending!

I took the day off due to medical appointments so it's going to be psuedo leisurely, lol!

Happy Canada Day!!!

Canada Day 🇨🇦 wknd

Met up with Fayewood for an office lunch yesterday down at Brookfield Place. We decided on hitting 'Piazza Manna' after seeing such delicious food and both settled on a lunch deal of a veal parmagiana and side salad!

Even though we both had leftovers (not necessary to get super full because I had to complete the work day - not snooze in the arvo, lol) that I'd brought home in the evening, I haven't had a chance to finish the rest today...

As BofA had Daily Bread Food Bank pizza lunch where the staff was encouraged to donate non-perishable food items to get free slices of pizza! Then to top it off, we were treated to an ice cream sandwich! yuuummmm!!!

The CMA Fest was on last night but I'd fallen asleep while watching it...however, the Bell channel allows is to watch past shows on certain channels (like CTV) as far as a day and half...I'm still able to see the 3 hr show before calling it a night (or fall asleep, haha)! What makes this easier for me is due to being on summer hours, I'm able to do this without feeling guilty about missing shows!
