hmm, well apparently lots happen in a month...

naima won! she's the new "america's next top model"!!!! i'm so happy that FINALLY one of the girls i've been rooting for is THE one.

yeh anyway, i just finished watching that on tv so it was on my mind. in other news: i saw jann arden perform live yesterday night at the toronto rehab gala. tickets to this thing was incredibly insane...$500 a ticket. i, of course, didn't need to buy one because i volunteered all day yesterday and the day before. i now know how to set a table properly (apparently there's a proper way) and i know how to fold the napkins for the bread bowl. from now on i will be taking note of how other tables are set. (hahaha)

i'm dying for coldplay tickets for august 2nd. since i missed the one last week i'm kicking myself in the ass for not "hearing" about it. so i will do anything possible to get these tickets this time round!!! grr. i hear franz ferdinand is opening for them, so that's really really awesome too. i was also checking out the oasis show with jet opening for them, except tickets are sold out. =(

what else what else?

met up with mich, chris and cass for the first time in a very looooong time. we went to an all-you-can-eat sushi place and well, that's exactly what we did. EAT. tony espinoza came by too, and then afterwards we went out for bbtea at metro square where i was so full i couldn't even have a FULL bbtea. i could only have just the "tea" portion. no bubbles! and THEN i watched star wars episode 3 at 12am. crazy. i was sooooo tired that i was afraid i'd fall asleep during the movie. luckily, i didn't. ;p

oh, and i finally got my G license!!! it was a little bit freaky but i felt good during and ESPECIALLY afterwards. now i can "re-learn" how to drive. haha.

last week i also met up with liz for coffee. after not seeing her in a while, it was really good to catch up on the comings and goings. and somehow, i got roped into doing the 10K nike run on sunday may 29th. i am so screwed hahaha. after not working out in so long, i'm in panic mode as to how i'm going to survive this thing. i'm only trying to live past this so that i can see modest mouse on june 26th, well, that and plus france.
