jules, you are the LAST person on earth that i would think needed to go on a diet. it drives me crazy how you and so many other ppl who are perfectly normal and alright would go around and make yourselves sick by going on nutty diets like slimfast. i was in costco today and i actually took a look at the product...and basically, it's saying that if you want to lose weight, just eat slimfast for lunch and dinner....and then...as an afterthought, they say...and OH YEH....eat healthy fruits on the side...that's BULL SHIT. if you're overweight, the first thing in your mind should be getting healthy, not losing weight...the weight loss comes along with the shaping up and being healthy...if you just up and lose weight, sure you might lose weight quickly (and gain it back even faster) but you're hurting your own body....and i just realized that i'm going totally berserk in this blog...but it's just that i don't want to see any of my friend/family going on with these eating disorders...that sucks...i hate the media...

so i was stuck at FIRST MARKHAM PLACE tonite for about 3 hrs...and it was quite brutal...i mean it's fun walking around for about half an hour...but after awhile you realize that you've walked the entire mall 3 times already and that the place is PACKED...with asians...hahahaaaa...the only good thing is that there are sooo many jewelery and bead stores, so i had a bit of fun looking at the pretty things! i can't wait to have a go at pacific mall sometime...they have awesome deals there...and the jewelery selection is so much better then at the english malls (ie. fairview, yorkdale...etc..) cuz they only have bittersweet, and ardene and claires and then that's it...so YEH! ;p

soooo sooolleeeEEEEE for not blogging in a loooonngggggg while...

i just came back from watching two plays at the U of T drama Festival...i actually paid to see 3 plays, but since the SMC play was the 2nd one and just happened to finish at 9pm (the time i'm supposedly done class) i decided that i'd rather go home then sit and watch a 3rd play that just happens to be an hour long...and hour much too long...but yes...i watched a chinese play in cantonese that was kinda dumb...but nice to watch since i got to listen in..duh...cantonese...it was like watching one of those chinese sitcoms that i used to watch with grandma when i used to have...TIME...something about a girl who's a lesbian...coming out to her boyfriend and mother...it seemed to me that the play was quite unfinished...but whatever...the best one was SMC's Henrik's House which was AMAZING....a round of applause to the cast who were fabulous...but it was even better cuz my dearest boys...COLIN OLIVER and SEAN BATER...were in it...NICE!!!

so yes...i've been a wickedly busy girl the past couple of weeks...i swear i'm gonna drive myself insane...but let me sum it up for anyone who cares what i've been doing...

i went to the AC today in the first time in AGES....that means before the winter holiday...it's amazing how much i miss that place...i saw all these ppl there and i got all excited! i worked my ass out with robyn who i happened to run into in the washroom, and just missed liz and her 4pm "showing" (okok...that sounds awful...basically we were in the change rooms and i didn't notice she was right next to me...changing...) and then on my way out to class (which i was 5 mins late for...but whatever...it's poli sci...i didn't miss much) i ran into ava! and the funniest thing was that i ran into her AGAIN after i came from EINSTEIN's with the poli sci group...hahaha...i swear...this is getting to be a regular thing...i haven't decided if that's a good thing or not...i don't like sitting around while the smokers get smoke in my face...but again...whatever...

hmmm...that seems to be the word of the day...

spent the entire day with karina yesterday...went shopping...(SHOPPING! YAY!) walked into GAP and was bombarded with ppl who love me...(it's great to be loved!) went to zara with flo and tried on these strapless dresses that didn't fit properly (they billowed out like i was pregnant)...and then discovered that they were actually NOT strapless dresses but were SKIRTS! haahhahha...and then karina and i went to gabby's for dinner...after she went to my tutorials...hahahaaaa...they were sooo pointless...but that's besides the point...faye, tanaka...girls...we gotta go take like a bus trip to niagara falls during reading week...and spend a wkend at casino rama! yah! ;p

monday was pointless...except for dinner at mr. maharajah's with georges, mu, marko and bill...hahahaaaaaa (notice how i'm the ONLY girl in the group...it's GREAT) i'd never eat indian food if it was just me...but these guys have introduced some awesome food...the non-spicy onces anyway...

anyway...that seems to be the most fun stuff that i've done this week...part of the downfall includes getting a retarded head cold last nite...gave me such a headache that i actually came home early and went straight to bed...can you imagine? bed at 9pm...wow that's early...but i needed it...i'm killing myself...it's a good thing i quit my job at GAP...the funniest thing is that it's quite obvious that i haven't been deleted from the database yet...they keep calling me in to work shifts...what can i say? i'm loved!

yello! what's up with jello? hahahaa...i'm sooo sick it isn't even funny...the only good thing is that i can now BE fully sick since my poli sci test is done and over with!

went to EINSTEIN'S with a bunch of the poli sci ppl after the test yesterday to do some good 'ol drinking! i believe susan and matthew will be hooking it up soon, since now that susan's broken up with her boyfriend...damn her tho...i want him! hahahaaa...he's soooo cute...the type where you just want to pinch his cheeks! hahaha! whatever...i think they get along much better tho...they sound like an old married couple...

had bubble tea with georges later that evening as well...he's been sick too...and now that i think about it...i think he gave it to me...meh...and plus, i can't decide if he's getting better or not...i can definitely say that i won't be getting better anytime soon...working today was brutal...it was soooo cold outside, and everytime the door opened, the drafts came in great big gusts...and everyone on the women's floor was FREEZING...we were all sporting scarves and coats...at least those accessories were doing well! heh heh...

well well...tomorrow is my last day, and the funniest thing of all? i haven't even seen or spoken to the general manager since i got the letter that wanted me back...in fact...i didn't even hand it in to her either...it'll be interesting tomorrow is all i can say. however, i'll be getting a $100 gift card for myself...hahahahaaaa. something to remember the GAP by...when i see something i like...especially that denim bucket hat i like so much...i'll see how it goes with the new "look" i'm sporting...if you want to know what it is...you'll have to seek me out personally!

went thru another quarter-life crisis this week, it didn't help how there were sooo many factors that were completely over-whelming me...but i've made it thru...and now I'M BACK! hahaha...that just reminded me of that viagra commercial that i've read on the bus and subway!

so i'm having a sneezing fit now...i think i'll go to bed early today!

hello. i'm still alive...but BARELY...

i have soooo much work to do that i figure what difference does it make if i spend another couple of mins typing on my blog? that's right...i have absolutely NO FREE TIME...i was whispering to raz in poli sci class yesterday and he was commenting on my "disappearance" from the sorbara 3rd floor rez...hahahaa...classic...

winterfest is going on right now...beginning with the "opening ceremonies" wednesday afternoon, of course i ran into joe valenti and he "MADE" (i SWEAR i was quite intent on going) me skip class...and we had a wicked snowball fight with vic and trin...chris tidey brought 2 tubs of ice cream and we started throwing scoops of ice cream at deans...but in the end, we started scooping ice cream and eating them out of our hands...deans and polish paul made a giant snow penis that made it in the front page of the independance...there was ice skating at city hall which i didn't go to because i had class and TONS of work to do on the botany assignment that's due monday...but i'm soooo dead...even tho jay and i worked 4 hours on it before the smc hockey game against vic...which we lost...boooo....but either way...let's just say that it's DRAMA all the wayyyy...

i feel very overwhelmed with everything that's been going on...but talking to carl on the phone made everything MUCH better...but still...it doesn't help that i'm doing an insane amount of stuff...two jobs, winterfest and smcsu, going to classes and doing schoolwork, taking care of grandma, AND trying to maintain some sort of social life with my girls and guys...oh well...i asked for it. and now i have it. so i gotta do work now....

i've met an ACTOR! wow! that's soooo cool! his name is richard...and he works as a stock boy at GAP on the side! and i went out to dinner with him tonite! eeeeeee! and when he makes it big...i can say i went out to dinner with him! ;p (on a side note: we got new flow in and the stuff looks AMAZING...they wanted me to work the overnite shift but i declined...smart girl i am!) THEY WANT ME BACK! i feel so wanted!

and in the end...i see two movies...about schmidt and chicago...and they were both AMAZING movies! ;p chicago's so good that i wouldn't mind seeing it again, but i don't have the time so i'm just glad that i've seen it! thanks to huey, eric, tony, flo and ames for making new years day a FUN DAY! 3 guys and 3 girls, two sisters - two brothers - bro & sis, 4 asians and 2 italians...can you call us the odd bunch? but it was good times! chicago is highly recommended! about schmidt was good too, jack nicholson always ALWAYS has excellent roles...he really really gets on my emotions! and since i haven't seen marko and georges in a long time, it was a blast! ;p

georges is BACK! (well now, i think we all knew that from the last sentence...but that's besides the point) And we went to ZYNG last nite with the rest of the abbey crew...i really really hope cha is alright, since she downed two glasses of wine after her mom found out a BIG secret...and it's always good to see alanna and faye! karina's piercing looks awfully painful and tanaka...she's just classic...a dress and high heels in a snow storm...that's all i have to say about that! hahahaha!

we cleaned the office yesterday, it actually looks livable...we still need to have the floors cleaned, and THAT will be good...helped allemano buy some new GAP clothes...he's soo happy! i love making ppl happy! and when i'm helping him choose clothes and see how they look, i feel like his personal shopper! the GAP warmest vests are on sale for $39.99! great steal! ahahaha! ;p (you know you're a sad sad case when you start advertising for your store....for FUN!)
