whoa! i'm done and DONE!

yippee!

with 3 exams in 2 days...i've crammed and studied till my head was saturated with hobbes, locke, plato, aristotle, primates, hominoids, first language acquisition, and brain and language...i've been more then ready to dump the contents of my brain out...in favor for....NOTHING! mwahaha!

after my last exam on thursday, met up with tanaks and karina (who were all done their exams LONG AGO) for drinks at the maddy. but we were soooo tired (which is crazy) and so we ended up at the second cup for lattes...and then after THAT...i didn't sleep till 4am because i'm dumb and didn't think that the stupid coffee would keep me up all night.

met up with an elementary school friend at fairview on friday, charlene fong...wow it's been a long time! she's still as pretty as ever, if not more (once she was past the goth stage). she's totally into shoes...reminds me of someone i know....RITA!

watched X-MEN yesterday! that's a GREAT movie! didn't go shopping at orfus road because karina's a dumbass, and tanaka's worse...so we'll go on monday.

on a side note: my neck is feeling MUCH better, thanks for asking. mr. gabereau thought it would be fun if he lifted me and threw me on his bed cuz he thought his bed was SOOO soft, and that i'm so light that i'd go bouncing on it. yeh right. about as light as a boulder. but *tear tear* everyone's going home soon. that's gotta suck.

everyone pray that i get that job at jacob....i'll be getting great discounts on both the jacob, AND the jacob annexe that they are opening downstairs of the manulife center! whoo hoo! it's all about reeling off the names of managers, and chatting with the other store employees...hahahaaa...i don't care if GAP wants me to go back, i'm having none of that...

either way, this will be a wicked summer! it may begin......NOW!

what a bad teaching week!
i had FOUR no shows....FOUR...it's bad enough that i thought i had to work on good friday...but it's worse when you DO go to work, and then they don't show, and you call them up...and they yell at you cuz you're dumb...and didn't you know it was good friday and nothing is open on good friday? apparently the music studio was open on good friday...anyway, my boss called them back and they yelled at her too...except my boss yelled back at them...hahahaaa...there goes some clientele...oops!

so apparently faywood called like 3 days ago, but i didn't get the msg till yesterday...i hate my phone...why don't i have an answering machine?!?!?!? everyone's done exams, and i haven't even STARTED....damn it...i can't wait till i'm DONE!!!!! until then...

i emerged from my cocoon with lisa this early morning for a 9am breakfast with the smcsu breakfast club. while scooting over to robarts with lisa so she could return her books, we sidetracked over to trinity to look at their beautiful gothic buildings, and their anglican church. met up with the pol200 gang at 11am at diablos, and then we went to eat vegetarian vietnamese food on dundas and spadina!

let me tell you how much fun it is to be eating at these ghetto restaurants when i'm the only asian person in our group! the five of us, ben, robin, eileen, leah and i, split 5 dishes and enjoyed our meal immensely. ben mosied off to work after lunch and me and the girls went browsing at "in shoes" and then went through kensington market! matthew called and then we met up with him and nici for 2 hours at second cup, and then robin went home and eileen went to study...(study?!?!?!)

geordie, nici, matthew and i went to see "anger management"...what a funny movie...dumb, but funny...and then after, we went over to geordie and nici's apartment to eat and watch the leafs game! i think my day was more then fun!

it makes up for my last two boring days at home studying and getting myself reaquainted with "dharma & greg" and "will & grace", along with the regular "gilmore girls"! i'm surprised my bum hasn't made a huge impression of itself on the sofa yet...plus, the starbucks at bathurst and steeles sucks...i love downtown!

oh, before i forget...robin brought pictures, and she sent them to me...here are a "selection" of them that i've posted on my website... the others were just way too shameful to have floating around...

ooooh lala! the hottest boy in the world came to my house today! unfortunately, i don't know who he is...all i know is that he works for the college pro painters...and when he told me that i laughed...nono, not because i'm mean like that...but because i had just had a conversation with my good friend andrew price, and he told me that he got a job with the college pro painters this summer! either way, i had fun flirting with him...but that's it...i wish some of MY guy friends would just randomly come visit me...(hint hint) hahaha!

yeh, i really have nothing important to say, just that i'm done that essay (thank god!) and now i have to get myself into study mode...for exams....blah.

what a good day!
a good breakfast with the smcsu breakfast club, a nap at teresa's, a nap at diablo's before class (for the record, i was STILL tired in lec), went to see a house with joe vee, mike and brenden...and then went to kensington market for the first time and bought banana chips that were soo good! went to gabby's for half-priced chicken wings with kirsten and bronwyn where we watched some of the leafs game...THEY WON 5-3!!!! the best part was running into immanuel! i had mentioned to him last week how much i liked the group t.a.t.u. and then thought nothing of it...and today when i saw him, he had a present for me! he had burned a copy of the cd for me! how sweet! and that really made my day!

it's 11pm and as soon as i finish blogging, i'll be finishing this gosh-darn essay that should have been done last week! len emailed me MONDAY to tell me that my definition of freedom for hobbes was WRONG...luckily for me (though he didn't know this) i hadn't even STARTED my paper yet so really, no harm done...BUT he didn't need to know that...and i milked it for all it's worth! i got half my paper done yesterday, and i really don't want to spend anymore time on it, so i'm giving MYSELF up to tomorrow (i want to PARTY!) but really, it doesn't have to be in until friday (but let's pretend it's due tomorrow...psyche myself out!)

i'm soooo screwed on this essay...nono...not the fact that it's late (actually...everyone...I GOT AN EXTENSION! mwahahahaaa! but in the end...it means NOTHING!)

i emailed len my paper woes...and hopefully he'll email me back quickly so that he can put me on the right track and i can go my happy way...(no worries robin...i think i'm OK!)

in other news, i had to wash off the cutest smiley face with big ears, small feet and a large tuff of hair that nici drew yesterday, for my interview. it went alright...but i'll talk more about it if and when i get it. if you don't hear anything from me, then DON'T ASK!

i got the longest email from tanaka today. i think i had a heart attack when i realized i had to SCROLL DOWN! seriously! tanaka, i'm gonna jot down this date in my diary and write "today, tanaka wrote the longest email to me" hahahaaaa! oh man...inside joke!

and so i realized why i don't eat lasanga very often...too much cheese.

that is the cutest book in the world! thanks to nici for lending it to me! i read it home on the subway and it made me feel so much younger, relaxed, and it sort of brought me back to reality. afterall, since i've gone to university, i've been reading insane amounts of textbooks and philosophy books, and when i do go to chapters, i read magazines or archies...and this little poetry book made me think of being so little again and pretending and everything! this is why it's so great to be little again! i hadn't realized how much i'd grown up...sure i'm still CRAZY...but i'm older crazy!

anyway...just another indication that i'm still little...i hole-punched my finger...yup that's right...i HOLE-PUNCHED IT! i was hole-punching some notes, but i wasn't really paying attention to what i was doing...i was listening to my sister and dad's conversation...when it happened...yeh...silly me...i'm such a klutz! georges paid $45 for a nipple piercing monday, and i get a free finger stabbing at home...hahaha

so it's snowing...again...what happened to spring?!?!? but it's a COOL snow...it's very feathery...like you can slid in the snow...and the snow will go FLYING in little pebbles...it's fun...but still...i'm tired of the snow! it ruined a beautiful nite of classical music! i went for about an hour of philharmonic concert being held at hart house...immanuel invited me to go...and i haven't listened to any REAL classical music for a very long time and went to see them...i was there to hear them play beethoven's symphony no. 5 in C minor, Op.67....it was sooooo good! i'm glad i went...but i felt bad cuz i was missing vivaldi and igor stravinsky's firebird suite! ahh!

i spent two hours at second cup! what a GREAT two hours! i was there with robin, matthew, geordie and nici...and it was sooo much fun! i don't think i've laughed so much in such a long time! it's such a different atmosphere with these ppl! it's so much more fun, and crazy! everything is sooo laid back and not so serious...and you don't have to watch what you're doing or saying...no back stabbing or anything retarded...so...free...

all in all, a fun day...week....whatever...BUT now i must get started on my essay that was due....today!

everyone looked sooo good! i can't wait to get my pics developed! i think everyone had an amazing time last nite! many scandals and fiascos...but then...that's all part of the packaged deal! we didn't have dinner until sometime after 8pm, but that was because there were about 200 ppl stranded at kelly...waiting for the buses to come back from woodbridge during rush hour. and then when dinner DID begin, the chicken was soooo dry that i had to drink my oh-so-lovely rum and coke to make it better! ;p

mr. tidey is an awesome guy! he danced the last song with me! ...oh...he also sang the entire song while we were dancing..."lady in red"...except that he changed the red to black because i was wearing a black dress! everyone was raving about the "schaefer originals"...which were the 6 dresses kirsten made for the girls...the models included lisa, jeanne, beata, bronwyn, liz, and ms. schaefer herself...me? i personally had mine made by jacob...actually...so did a whole bunch of other ppl...and the best thing was...no one was wearing the same dress!

so many ppl got piss ass drunk and shit-faced it wasn't even funny! but whatever...i'm fine...and that's what counts! ;p

ahhhhh....it feels sooo good to have less stress! SYMPOSIUM IS DONE! yay!

i personally did not think it was that great of a success...i mean, sure everything went well...but i don't think enough administration came, however...that's prolly our fault...we never sent out formal invites to them...and we didn't do enough advertising so not alot of ppl came...but the ppl that DID come, really enjoyed the meal...and the rest of the evening!

eileen called me 5 mins before i got the hall to ask me where is was...b/c she was standing in a corner by herself eating cheese! poor dear! but i was there soon enough and everything was well! matthew came with geordie and nici...and it was kinda funny because they were relatively underdressed next to everyone else...i have like 3 pics up from last nite on my website so you can check that out here...we had soooo much food! but everything was all good! whatever...i'm DONE!

i had sooo much fun last nite!

st. mike's had a st. paddy's day party at the Courthouse...and everyone was dancing and drinking...and most everyone was there! how fun are st. mike's party you may ask? i dunno...the only reason i had a blast is cuz i knew like every other person...except for the old ppl that were there. i should go to partys more often...i see ppl there that i haven't seen in the longest time...like kevin, (hahaha...he thought i was still in botany with him...that just goes to show how up to date we are), joe figs and niebaum (VOTE JOE AND MIKE FOR PREZ AND VP), jason ngo (wow i haven't seen him in over 6 months...and the haircut he's gotten makes him all the more attractive), matt mclean and patterson (mclean was soooo wasted...but we kept on giving him drink tickets)...and john and andrew (yes susan, the boy you're infatuated with...he was there looking great)... reza introduced me to one of his frat boys...hot boy who doesn't mind picking up older women...too bad...such a waste...hahahaa...everyone looked AMAZING...i loved lisa's top! and after the fiasco we had earlier yesterday, kirsten's top came out perfectly as well!

ah..but yes...my boots are broken...welll....do i have a story to tell...(really...it has nothing to do with boots...but just to change the topic)

so flo, i still hold the prize to stupidest things done at the AC...remember when we went swimming for 40mins and we came back, and i'd had left my locker open for all to see and take? and remember when we went to a step class and came back to see that i had left all my clothes on the bench? yeh...well this one takes the cake....

so i went to AC to put all my stuff away, and went to hart house to workout (yay treadmills) in only my workout gear and my jacket...after working out, made my way back to AC hoping to get a lovely shower, clean up and go on with everything else i'd planned to do...except....that the AC was...CLOSED. yup yup...to make a long crazy story short...the sweaty little asian girl had to call campus police to come open up the place so that i could grab my stuff....nutty

on a different note:
DO NOT PAY MONEY TO SEE "THE GOOD THIEF"...it's a really really horrible movie...and hour and a half of watching a horribly aged nick nolte...i don't care that the movie was free (well...actually...that's the only reason i went) it was TERRIBLE. well...i lied...there were two reasons i went and one of them was b/c it was free...the other was cuz it was mu's b-day and all the guys at sorbara went...hey...me and a bunch of guys? who wouldn't go?!?!?!?! for mu's b-day present, georges, pat, ray and i bought him a new set of headphones....good idea considering his old ones were quite literally...dead

so falafel is quite good. never had it before, but i think it's working out fine. i've had soo much sushi these past 3 days that i think i've sworn off veggie and shrimp tempura for awhile...i haven't mentioned...i hate 4 particular words put in this phrase:

i really really really hate that phrase...my dad has some sort of thing where we have to go to a buffet at LEAST once a week...if we're lucky...otherwise it's more...but i hate eating at these places b/c you feel the need to eat as much as you can in order to satisfy the price you pay...and then you eat enough for 10 ppl...and then you feel gross...and by the way...i've inherited dad's genes...no matter how much i exercise or eat properly...i still weigh the same...bugger...why couldn't i have inherited mom's fast metabolism?!?!?!?! WHY WHY WHY?!?!! ugh

anyway, there's hw to be done, ppl to talk to on the phone...and sleeping...hahaaa..

i don't feel like working...i'm actually really dumb...i've finished all my research for my paper due tuesday, last week, but i don't want to start the actual process of putting the information together...i think it's biological...as if my brain goes..."WHOA! you might actually finish this paper EARLY..." and then my brain shuts down for a week so that i can catch up on the days and then work my ass of the day of....so typical of me...

ooh ooh...gotta promote the symposium...march 23rd 5:30pm at st. mikes...$5 for good food and better entertainment! tickets on sale march 10th at the smcsu office...heeheeheee

is it just me or is everyone sick and tired of all this snow? just for the record, i'd like to find out who those weather broadcasters were...the ones who said that we'd be getting less snow, and an early spring...i'd like to give them a piece of my mind...THINK SPRING! SPRING! SPRING! SPRING!!!!! you know...flowers and birds and warm weather.....especially warm weather cuz i don't want to wear a heavy coat to the formal!

for all my friends in poli sci...you missed one of the best poli sci lectures on thursday! prof kingston was away at a funeral and one of her TA's took over her evening class...why was it good? because she wasn't teaching IT!!! i took some sick notes....some of the best in this class! yasin ran after me after class and walked me over to st. mikes...isn't that nice? ;p

anyway, i should start putting my paper together....

i am UTTERLY EXHAUSTED!

so i'm sitting in the smcsu office at 8:30am in the morning. nono...not for an 8:00am mtg...we'd had that the past three days...so sleep at 1am and waking up at 6am...HELLO!?!?!?!? this is a little princess we're talking about...she needs at least 8-9hrs of sleep...and i'm NOT getting it! the gramm is driving me to an early death...the past week has just been hassles about pics needing to be re-scanned, not being in the right dpi, GETTING the pics, burning it onto a cd...

not to mention all the extra fitness classes i've been going to at hart house and AC...wow i love those classes! i've always been too scared to go by myself, and now i've found a fitness class buddy in teresa! we did the ABT (abs, butt, thighs) yesterday at hart house...we nearly DIED! the guy doesn't stop giving us exercises! but afterwards, we felt sooo good! and i see so many abbey girls there too!

smcsu mtgs at 8am are sick! the only good outcome is the fact that i've been named the chair of the scholarship committee AND i get to be a paid polling clerk because rob and jp are the new CRO's for the election! whooo hooo!!

so who ran into one of her "current" fav boys at the library today? ..... ME! hahaha! i was at robarts (yech! robarts! yech!) doing some research for anthro on the fifth floor when i hear a whispered shout (hahaha...what an oxymoron...a whispered shout...) coming from behind a computer...my boy! teehee...so then we had a good conversation about what we were doing at the library and what was going on in our mundane lives...too bad i had to cut it short because i had to do research....ah well...makes seeing him the next time BETTER!!!!! ;p

the gramm is coming along...slowly...but coming along...we've finally finished picking the submissions that will make it in...now we're in the process of finishing the layout...i finished the written portion of the layout...and last time i checked...lisa and liz were sticking in the pictures...i think it's going to be AMAZING! and hopefully, the gramm will be printed and ready to be handed out at the symposium.

ah...the symposium...what a mindbuster...we have to start looking for sponsorship and we have to finish picking our speakers. i keep forgetting that flo is my co-chair and not lisa...and everytime i remember to tell lisa something about the symposium, i remember that it's NOT her i tell but FLO...and by then i'd have seen her already and she'd left and i'd have to pick up the stupid phone to call her again...

okok...gilmore girls...i think that rory is having second thoughts about her relationship with jesse...i think she'll go back to dean...however...after seeing the sneak preview for next weeks episode...it looks like she'd have done "it"...but i think she'll regret it...i think...ah well...we'll seeeee.

just for the record...it doesn't feel like reading week...and hobbes is dragging me down...that book is sooooo horrible to read! HORRIBLE I SAY! why can't someone write the book in modern day language?!?!?! PLEASE?!?!?! he can't SPELL! ugh....

i hope everyone is having a good reading week! and what am i doing this week? READING!!! hahahaaa (ok...it wasn't THAT funny)

but i definitely will be trying to get all my papers and reading done so that i can enjoy the rest of my year in peace!

so i went swimming at the AC for the very first time last wednesday...but of course it has to be an adventure as always! i went with susan and eileen from poli sci and being girls we happened to be 45mins EARLY...the pool didn't open till 12:10pm...so we sat around in our wet bathing suits and then we had a great time swimming! except for the fact that i can't breast-stroke or do the front stroke properly...i think the only thing i can do is the back stroke...i'm soooo retarded...

COLDPLAY is coming to town june 11th!!!!!! i've gotten tickets for me and ames...thanks to wongie and bozek for getting them for us! eeeeeee! i'm sooo excited! i can't wait to hear them play!

what? it's like 9pm and i'm sooooo tired....why? i don't know...maybe because the stupid smoke detector went off this morning at an ungodly hour (yes 8:30am on a sunday is an ungodly hour)...but i don't even understand why...there was no smoke...ugh...it's god playing tricks on us...but is it god? yep...that's what happens when you read a book like "Sophie's World" now THAT is an amazing book...a VERY good christmas present from a VERY good friend of mine, marko...thanks man!

even during reading week, i'll be downtown tomorrow...gramm mtg....ugh....did i mention about the symposium? we had food tasting for that last week...the food will be AMAZING...yum...drooling just thinking about it...but no more food for me...i'm full now! ;p

my hands smell like oranges...hmmm...maybe cuz i just had an orange?!?!?!? so i went to shoppers yesterday to buy one stick of vanilla lipsmackers that costs $1.99...i walk out of shoppers having spent $25.24 on cosmetics....BUT i got a free charm bracelet! hahahaa...my mom was like "omg...i can't believe you spent over $25 just to get a stupid bracelet" (okok...she didn't say it like that...i rephrased it in my language)

i'm kinda exhausted right now...hmmm...maybe because i've worked all day...

wow! i think i kicked some linguistic ass! but the weather soaked mine... =( yesh...after my test tonite...i walked to the station in the freaking ice rain...i swear i was wet head to toe...and it was COLD! blah...anyway...i'm home now...in my nice comfy pj's! ;p

so i ran into joe valenti at 2pm as i was going to meet flo...and after a fun filled hour of listening to good 'ol records/cd's in the records room at hart house, i went over to study for my ensuing test with joe. and i think we studied for like 2 hrs...but it got boring cuz honestly, how much can you study for this test? that's right...not much...so we decided to go over to gabby's for monday nite half-priced wings...seriously...this is getting to be a regular habit...and it's not that good....there goes all my red-pocket money...hahahahaaaa...

happy belated chinese new year! although, how happy it is, i'm not too sure. i worked all day yesterday so i didn't really know about the columbia explosion until sometime in the afternoon. after i heard, i wanted to read about it, to inform myself what happened, how important it was, and why everyone was so sad about it...and after i read the articles on the internet i understood.

on that note, i'd like to bring everyone's attention to the fact that i have a linguistics midterm tomorrow, and i frankly have no desire to study for it (nono...has nothing to do with the news...i'm just plain LAZY)...no matter...it's only 5:30pm right now...i still have PLENTY of time to study...

georges has cut off his hair...again...please tell me it wasn't house of lords...that place is CRAZY! but for the record...the hair doesn't look that bad from the front....i can't say about the back...haven't seen it! ;p
