Was reached out totally unexpectedly by a very past uni friend yday arvo and was very happy to learn that the universe was working in our favor!
As Eric and I have a history dating back to our musical involvement in SMC's Blood Brothers and Chess, where he was a singer/actor while I was the musical keyboard player.

We had a wonderful lunch reunion at my office cafeteria where we shared a buffalo style pizza and chicken ceasar salad!
All the best with his upcoming firefighting season and hope to see him when he's not in Vancouver nor at his humble abode in Japan!

Be ready when the luck happens

Just finished listening to Ina Garten read her memoir 'Be Ready When The Luck Happens' that I'd borrowed from the library.
The perfect book to listen to as Ina's voice is so delightful to listen with great clarity, depth and warmth. As well, she's giving insight on her life with Jeffrey and honestly, there's no way to get anything wrong when listening to someone talk about food!!!

Critic’s Choice Awards winner!!!

Congratulations to fellow Abbeyite, Maggie Kang & Demon Pop Hunters on their Critics win!!! Even though I have yet to follow the series/films, it's special because I went to school with Maggie!!!

It's also fun that 'The Pitt' also won some awards! I'm currently in the midst of getting caught up in the series as I'm on 2pm of the first season (should be complete by this Thursday-fingers-crossed).
